Rent a Boat in Faro
If you have a valid skipper license and you want to explore the wonders of the Ria Formosa at your own pace and time, renting a boat from us is the best option we can find.
Our fleet have several boat size options, from a smaller 4,5m Pioneer Viking with a 40 hp engine for 5 people, to the bigger Quicksilver Commander with 6,35m with a 115 horse power engine for 7 people. In the middle we also have a 5,3m RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) with a 60 hp engine where you can take a maximum of 6 people.
All our rental boats are equipped with all the required safety equipment and, before you board the boat, we will explain you the best ways to explore the Ria Formosa and we will also make a brief safety briefing and an explanation on how the boat works.
With this option, you will be able to have a great sailing day with your family and friends and access the Ria Formosa Islands where you spend your day at the beaches and visit the small precious villages of the Ria Formosa.
We also have longer term rental options, from just a weekend to a week or 2 weeks period. If you want to use one of our boats during different non consecutive days, we will be able to offer you a nice deal.
The person in charge of the crew must be of legal age, responsible for the boat and the people in it. The person responsible for the crew shall take possession of the vessel after completion of the formalities (security, inventory), the collection of administrative documents and the necessary training and navigation instructions. The renter must comply with the current navigation regulations and the instructions he receives from ISea Charter and from the local maritime authorities.
Night navigation, towing, lending or boat hire are prohibited.
To rent our boats, the nominated skipper must have the relevant Navigation License.
For safety and legal reasons the Authorized Navigation Area is only inside the Ria Formosa; and it’s not allowed to exit to the ocean.
For your convenience, we can also provide a skipper to take you to the best places in the safest way.
